Train to Varanasi

With a week of freedom we caught the over night train to Varanasi, the city of light. oldly this 13 hour trainride was our best night sleep!the driving is even more frantic than Delhi but we managed to get a good rikshaw driver who told us that you can travel the whole world but if you haven't seen Varanasi then your journey hasn't ended. Ours hasn't and now with our design heads on the colours especially are making thier mark. surpringly, despite thier brighness it's the subtlety in the combinations that are most striking. Particularly the paintings in the Buddhist temples.
